Organic oval dangles in a checkered pattern. Checkers are white and multicolored with hints of pink and light yellow. Made with polymer clay, gold plated brass jump rings, and hypoallergenic stainless steel stud posts.

Named after Sylvia Rivera, a Venezuelan-Puerto Rican trans woman who pioneered LGBTQ+ activism. Alongside Marsha P. Johnson, she created the STAR (Street Transvestite Action Revolutionaries) organization, which provided a home for homeless trans people in New York in the 1970s. Sylvia’s Place and the Sylvia Rivera Law Project continue to honor her legacy by working towards LGBTQ+ rights.
