Perla

The Perla features polished quartz spheres sandwiched in between pearlized white seed beads and a round freshwater pearl disk hanging front and center. Each necklace is totally unique due to the variety in each quartz bead. 16 inches + 2 inch extender. Gold-plated findings. 

Named after Pura Belpré , who was the first Puerto Rican librarian in the New York Public Library system. Pura saw the value of providing Spanish language stories to Latino children and noticed the lack of representation for kids, so decided to write stories for them.
